I did some research for a loan site ezeeloans a provider of Home Loans, Mortagage Loans and other loans in hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. I am working out for cheapest advertising way with maximum result to promote their loan site for loans in hyderabad , after going through various options available to advertise we shortlisted
Newspaper Advertisement, Justdial and other Lead Providers, Google adwords, Radio etc.
Newspaper and Radio are ruled out for their cost. Justdial and other lead providers are very costly, for example each lead on just dial costs approx Rs. 50 and the lead will be given to 9 competitors and assuming the closing rate as 50% you need to get 18 leads to close the sale. that is Rs. 900 per sale, very costly. we worked on adwords and took some keywords and submitted to google toolbar and found various keyword ideas for loans like

lot of the above keywords are much cheaper and with reasonable hits and after doing various calculations we found each closure will cost less than Rs. 250. Then we decided to go for google adwords as main advertising media for site ezeeloans

Free online classifieds are best source to reach on line customers. There are some popular free online classified sites. They are famous in a niche segment. Take sulekha.com it is reasoably popular in India, especially in south India. I wanted to test the response in local classified. I placed 2 ads. in free online ads.

I got good response for both ads. I got around 15 enquires from both ads. This is very good response compared to newspaper classifieds, where the readership is limited to the city and it is for 1 day period and will cost money. Tryout free calssifieds there are more than 20 popular sites, just place ad, it cost nothing and certainly you will get good response.

I found a very interesting and low cost promotion activity in Hyderabad. There are more than 1 lakh 3 wheeler autorickshaws ( Taxis ) in the city. On an average each taxi travel more than 100 KM on the busy roads of the city. A well designed 400 cm * 300 cm poster can be easily pasted on the backside of the auto and charges are so low just Rs. 50 i.e 1$ a month. For 100$ or Rs. 5000 one can promote their products on 100 taxis almost covering entire city, which is having a population of more than 7 millions. If one has to put a ad on a huge billboard it will cost more than Rs. 20000 a month and it will be located at one place and visblility is limited.
