SMS promotions are very effective. If you have the correct customer database it will be very cost effective. It will reach the correct audience. Normally 160 characters messages are allowed. Each message cost only 10 to 20 % of the normal call rate. There is no resistance from the customer and customer can view the message at his convenience and normally they keep the messages till the message box is full. It is very effective especially for announcements, product launches, discount sales. we can reach lakhs of customers within minutes. SMS promotions are must for todays markets.

even if phone is switched off the message is delivered once the phone is switched on
the message is saved for longer time and information can be used at later date or can be forwarded to some one who needs it
